As a Minnesota artist, I paint my Midwestern life with paintings filled with light and color. I was born in Minneapolis, moved to Windsor, Ontario, Canada during my grade school years and settled back to Minnesota in 1968. I currently live on a beautiful lake just north of the Twin Cities. I received my art education at the University of Minnesota and I continue to explore and expand my experience as a self-taught artist for 40+ years.

From the early 80's to today, I continue to be an acrylic and watercolor instructor for private and public painting classes, painting workshops for beginner, intermediate and advanced students. My vignettes range from realism to abstraction with a bit of creative whimsy in-between. I love color and work in ways to express my joy of color in my paintings. For me, each day is a 'creative kind of day!’
